Amar Gill joined ACGA in 2023 and is the Secretary General of ACGA. He is responsible for directing research, advocacy and educational work in 12 Asia-Pacific markets, as well as for overall management of the association. Amar has been a passionate advocate of good governance in the region for over 20 years, and was an ACGA council member from 2005 to 2008. From 1995 to 2018, he was with CLSA, a Hong Kong-based regional securities company, where he was responsible for thematic research. Amar was coauthor of the CLSA-ACGA CG Watch reports from 2001 to 2014. He won equity research awards from publications including Asiamoney, Euromoney and Institutional Investor, and rose to become Head of Asia Research. Before joining CLSA, he held positions at Chemical Bank in Singapore as well as Southern Bank and Rashid Hussain Berhad in Malaysia. Amar joined BlackRock in 2018. He was Head of Investment Stewardship for APAC, leading its regional stewardship team, overseeing engagement and voting in the region. In 2023, Amar led the team that produced a report entitled Board Independence in Asia Pacific: A stewardship perspective, highlighting the significant governance issues in markets characterized by dominant controlled companies. He has been a member of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission's Public Shareholder Group since 2020. Amar graduated with a first class degree in philosophy, politics and economics, and completed a master's thesis in ethics at Oxford University, UK.

Flora Wang is Head of Stewardship, Asia & Portfolio Advisor at Fidelity International. Based in Hong Kong, Flora leads the stewardship team covering the Asia ex-Japan markets. Flora is also the Portfolio Advisor for the Sustainable Asia fund. Before joining FIL, Flora was the head of Investment Stewardship for the Greater China markets at BlackRock. Prior to joining BlackRock, she led the China and Taiwan Research at Institutional Shareholder Services. Flora is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council, the independent regulator of the accounting profession in Hong Kong. She also sits on the Public Shareholders Group, an external committee of the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong. She also sits on the global steering committee of the Climate Action 100+ initiative and co-chairs the China working group of the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change. Flora holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Lee Kong Chain School of Business at Singapore Management University and a Bachelor of Art in Economics from Tsinghua University. Flora is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute.

Philip oversees the Sydney, Tokyo, and San Francisco research and engagement teams that cover Asia-Pacific markets. His team publishes research on 15,000+ shareholder meetings and engage with issuers over 500+ engagements per year. His focus research areas include executive remuneration, boardroom relationships, director and executive succession with a special interest in the differences between companies that are founder-led and professional-led. Prior to joining CGI Glass Lewis, Philip was a forensic accountant in the Disputes and International Arbitration practice at Berkeley Research Group, before which he was with the forensic accounting and audit practices of KPMG. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and is a CFA charter holder.

Glenn Maguire is Head of Asia ex-Japan Governance Research at ISS Stoxx, leading a team delivering independent research, governance insights, and voting recommendations across key Asian markets. With over 25 years of experience in economics research and policy across Asia, Glenn brings deep regional expertise to corporate governance analysis. His work ensures transparency, accountability, and investor protection through in-depth assessments of public companies. Prior to ISS, Glenn held senior roles in investment banking, commercial banking, payments, and the public sector. He has advised multilateral institutions including the ADB, World Bank, and IMF on policy, regulation, and sustainable growth. Based in Sydney, Glenn ensures research quality and alignment with global governance trends. He holds an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Newcastle and post-graduate qualifications in Data Science and Sustainable Development.

Edward Soon is the Head of Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa for the Markets & Lending Solutions businesses within the Data & Research division at S&P Global Market Intelligence. Based in Hong Kong, he plays a pivotal role in spearheading the growth and expansion of these businesses across established and emerging markets. Edward engages in discussions with regulators, exchanges, financial firms, and corporate issuers, driving strategic partnerships and fostering business relationships across the capital markets and corporate issuer community. He is also a regular speaker at conferences, discussing topics surrounding investor engagement & corporate governance, sustainability and technology innovation. Before assuming his current position, Edward held senior leadership roles at prominent global firms, including IHS Markit, Ipreo, Thomson Reuters and Computershare. Throughout his career spanning over 25 years in the data, analytics, and financial technology industries, he has excelled in various leadership general management capacities, encompassing product management, strategic business development, and corporate advisory. Edward's educational background includes a Master of Laws degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the same institution. He has also obtained a Certificate in Investor Relations from the UK IR Society.

Frances joined Sodali & Co with significant experience in corporate governance and proxy advisory. Her latest role was Senior Associate at ISS, leading a team of research analysts covering the China/Taiwan market, where she was responsible for proxy research analysis on all companies resolutions (including M&A and contested elections), internal research papers and policy reviews, as well as engaging with issuers and clients. Since April 2019, Arisa works independently under her initiative En-CycleS, standing for Engagement Cycle for Sustainability. As part of this, Arisa manages a portfolio of roles and activities. These include member of the Japan Financial Service Agency (JFSA) Expert Panel of Sustainable Finance, the Green Finance Committee under the Ministry of Environment, Board Member of Japan Sustainable Investment Forum (JSIF), and Senior Consultant for Arkadiko Partners. Prior to this, Arisa was part of FTSE Russell's Sustainable Investment team, including as Head of ESG for the Asia Pacific region where she was responsible for developing and implementing FTSE Russell's Asia Pacific Sustainable Investment product strategy and expansion. She has been working as an expert in ESG and Sustainable Investment since 2007, including managing corporate engagement programmes, ESG indexes and ratings, and client engagement on stewardship and ESG integration. Arisa has contributed to the wider debate on sustainable and long-term investment through various public speaking and publications.

Based in Singapore, Trista Chen serves as the Global Co-Lead and the Head of Investment Stewardship Asia (ex-Japan) of the Investment Stewardship team at the Asset Management division of L&G, a major global investor across public and private markets. In her global role, she co-manages the firm's global investment stewardship team, overseeing strategy and implementation as a Universal Owner. Regionally, she drives the firm's global investment stewardship strategy with a localized approach. Specifically, Trista leads engagement activities related to human rights and is closely involved in themes such as climate, corporate governance, and nature. Trista is a seasoned sustainability professional, with close to 20 years of experience and an in-depth understanding of the fast-evolving sustainability landscapes in the international market. She has advised investors and companies at the corporate and project level in 30+ countries in Asia Pacific, Europe, North America, Latin America and Africa. Prior to joining L&G, Trista was a partner with global sustainability consultancy firm ERM, where she was accountable for the firm's financial services industry and M&A service strategy in APAC.

Jane is the Head of Stewardship, APAC at BNP Paribas Asset Management and leads the firm's stewardship activities in the region. This includes direct corporate engagement, proxy voting and working with policymakers on key issues relating to sustainable finance and investment. She represents BNPP AM in key investor networks, including as a member of Climate Action 100+'s global Steering Committee. She is also co-chairing the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC) Forest and Land Use Working Group. She joined from the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC), where she was the Director of Investor Practice. During her time at AIGCC, Jane launched and led AIGCC's Asia Utilities Engagement Program, a collaborative engagement program that runs in parallel to Climate Action 100+. Prior to AIGCC, Jane was an equities portfolio manager at JPMorgan Asset Management for more than ten years. Jane is based in Singapore.

Mervyn Tang is the Head of Sustainability APAC at Schroders. Based in Singapore, Mervyn is responsible for Schroders' Sustainability initiatives in the Asia Pacific. He works in partnership with client facing and product teams to build the firm's sustainable investment propositions across the region. Prior to joining Schroders in July 2021, Mervyn was Global Head of ESG Research at Fitch Ratings, overseeing a research team of 4 analysts across London and Hong Kong which primarily focuses on thematic and cross sector ESG research. He also held roles at MSCI, the Bank of England, and Citigroup. Mervyn holds a degree in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of London. Mervyn is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter holder, a lecturer for the Nanyang Technology University MSc in Asset and Wealth Management program, and co-chair of the Singapore Sustainable Finance Association's Transition Finance work stream.

Dr. Dai Yamawaki is a Senior Portfolio Manager at the Nomura Asset Management (NAM) in Japan. His main role is to lead an ESG integration approach for Japanese equities, providing in-depth ESG analysis of financial and non-financial information for stock rating and investment decision, as a member of several Stock Selection Committees. He is also serving as an Advisory Committee Member for the PRI Nature Stewardship Initiative. Dai started his career at the United Nations FAO through the Young Professional Programme, where he supported member countries for their green financing responses. Before joining the NAM, he worked on the most recent trend of monetary policy operation for climate change at the Bank of Japan. Dai holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Kyoto University, and served as a Visiting Associate Professor at Hokkaido University during FY 2024. Dai is also a CFA charter holder.

Julia is EY's Asia-Pacific Public Policy Leader who is responsible for regulatory and public policy matters across more than 20 countries. She has over 30 years of professional experience from a diversified background of audit, commerce and government. She is based in Singapore. In her role, Julia leads EY's efforts in engaging with investors, regulators, legislators and other stakeholders on policy areas such as audit regulations, sustainability reporting and assurance policies, AI regulations and corporate governance. Prior to joining EY in 2016, Julia spent over seven years with Singapore's Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), the national regulator of companies and public accountants, where she last served as Deputy Chief Executive. Before joining ACRA in 2009, Julia spent 13 years as an auditor with KPMG Singapore and two years as the Group Vice-President of Corporate Finance & Treasury at a large public listed healthcare company in Singapore.

Judi focuses on research and engagements across Asia and global emerging markets, primarily with companies in the Financial Services and Technology sectors. Her latest systems-level work includes assessing the implications of climate risks to insurers and advising on the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC)'s new report: Engaging the Banking Sector on Decarbonising Real Estate. Prior to joining EOS at Federated Hermes Limited, she rotated across investment, credit, and business management and support teams at LGT. She was responsible for designing client assessment guidelines against ESG factors as well as developing a client portfolio analysis and reporting suite. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Hong Kong and a MSc in Corporate Finance and Banking degree from EDHEC Business School. She is based in London.

Ms. Tanya Xu is the Lead Global ESG Analyst in Sumitomo Mitsui DS Asset Management. As part of the global equity team, she spearheads the company's efforts on ESG integration, sustainability research, stewardship activities, as well as external communications regarding ESG and sustainable investing. She's also in charge of investment idea generation for the team on sustainability-related thematic such as energy transition. Prior to the current role, Ms. Xu worked in the capacity of an ESG specialist for Asian Equity Team in Harvest Global Investments and a Senior Consultant in FactSet, a global leading financial data and analytics provider. Ms. Xu holds an MBA degree from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is also a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) holder by European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies.

Ms. Elaine Zhu, CFA, FRM, Senior Investment Sustainability Analyst Elaine Zhu is a Senior Investment Sustainability Analyst and joined the Investment Sustainability Solutions Team (ISST) at Franklin Templeton in February 2022. She is based in Singapore. Her role has a focus on sustainability reporting, investment stewardship and thematic research in APAC. She also provides regional support to compliance, investment and distribution teams. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Elaine has 7 years' experience in corporate governance research and was formerly Head of China and Taiwan Research at Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. (ISS), leading a research team to deliver proxy voting recommendation reports and market overview reports to institutional investors. She was responsible for the development of ISS' China and Taiwan voting policies, policy training, issuer engagement, client engagement and team management. Elaine holds a Master's Degree in Applied Economics from Nanyang Technological University. She is also a CFA charterholder and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM). She earned the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing in 2022.
